In 2021, GI acquired a fully owned commercial asset in Long Island City and established our East Coast headquarters. From here we manage the group’s real-estate holdings, corporate governance, investor relations, and support functions — enabling lean operations and strategic flexibility across our U.S. manufacturing and industrial portfolio. As a member of the Long Island City Partnership, we maintain active engagement with the city’s commercial community and contribute to neighborhood economic growth and infrastructure development.
GI opened its first Middle-East office in Dubai in 2014, starting as a two-person team in Capital Golden Tower, Business Bay. In 2015 we relocated to the Burj Al Salam Tower near Dubai World Trade Center, and in 2019 we purchased Level 31 of the Executive Towers in Business Bay. Today, the Dubai office serves as GI’s central hub for Middle-East and European operations.
From this location we manage a diversified portfolio of more than six wholly-owned subsidiaries and strategic private-equity holdings across the Middle East and Asia. A dedicated regional team of over 20 professionals handles investment oversight, legal/compliance, business development, and regional structuring — ensuring GI’s global activities are coordinated with discipline and governance.
In July 2018, GI Corporation opened a purpose-built facility in Kochi. “GI Park” serves as a satellite office supporting our global operations — including project coordination, regional logistics, and back-office support.
GI Corporation is incorporated in the United Kingdom and maintains a registered London address. We currently do not operate a staffed office or active business premises there — all UK-related functions continue to be managed from our regional headquarters in Dubai. We plan to establish a fully staffed London office by 2027, as part of the firm’s long-term expansion in the UK.
