Job Description

We are in search of an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the accounts and finances across our diverse portfolio of companies located in the US, UK, UAE, and India. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.

Job Responsibilities
  • Accurate Documentation: Type and maintain precise accounting documents and records for our companies worldwide.
  • Global Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes for entities in the US, UK, UAE, and India, utilizing various payment methods such as cash, checks, and vouchers.
  • International Banking Operations: Prepare bank deposits, post entries to the general ledger, and reconcile statements for financial accuracy on a global scale.
  • Global Cash and Financial Account Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile cash and financial accounts across different countries, ensuring consistent data integrity.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize spreadsheets to monitor and analyze accounting data, preparing insightful financial reports for our diverse international operations.
  • Table of Global Accounts: Develop and manage a comprehensive table of accounts, ensuring proper assignment of entries in adherence to GAAP and international accounting standards.
  • Administrative Support: Provide accounting and clerical support to management across multiple jurisdictions, facilitating efficient global office operations.
  • Global Credit Control: Enforce credit control measures to maintain financial stability across our international companies.
  • International Audit Coordination: Facilitate and coordinate annual audits globally, ensuring compliance with international regulatory standards.
  • ERP Management: Update financial transactions on our ERP system for streamlined and integrated global financial reporting.
  • General Assistance: Provide general assistance and support to company personnel across different regions to enhance overall organizational effectiveness.
  • Payroll and Time Sheet Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain employee payroll across multiple countries on a monthly basis.
Job Requirements
  • Efficient Global Organization: Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks efficiently across different jurisdictions.
  • International Tech Proficiency: Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite for managing global financial data.
  • Self-Motivated: Highly motivated individual with a proactive approach to managing accounts and finances globally.
  • GAAP Knowledge: Preference given to candidates with in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Taxation Skills: Ability to compute taxes and prepare accurate tax returns on an international scale.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years of general accounting experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience using cloud or web based ERP/Accounting software systems.
